Teisen Reis Greiddell or Rice Griddle Cakes



  1. Mix together rice, melted butter, salt and well-beaten egg.
  2. Sieve together baking-powder and flour, add to mixture and stir well.
  3. Drop large tablespoonfuls on to hot greased bakestone or thick frying-pan.
  4. Cook about four minutes each side.
  5. These are delicious served very hot with golden syrup.
