Pickled Meat Loaf
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs. ground beef
- 1/2 cup. dry bread crumbs
- 5 tbsp. ketchup
- 1 tbsp. prepared mustard
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 sm. Onion
- 1/2 cup. milk
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. mustard
- 1/2 tsp. basalmic vinegar
- Dill pickles
Method:
- Combine all ingredients except pickles.
- Put 1/2 of mixture
into 9x5x3 inch pan.
- Top with sliced pickles and cover with remaining mixture.
- Bake at
375 degrees for 1 1/4 hours.
- After cooking for 1/2 the time pour off any grease and add
on top a mixture of 3 tablespoons brown sugar, 1/4 cup ketchup, 1/4 teaspoon
nutmeg and 1 teaspoon dry mustard.
