Deep Fried Oysters or Clams
Ingredients:
- 12 Oz. shucked oysters or clams
- Vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 2 Eggs, slightly beaten
- 3/4 cup Dry bread crumbs
Method:
- Heat oil (2 to 3 inches) in frying pan to high (325F)
- Mix
flour, salt and pepper.
- Coat oysters or clams with flour mixture.
- Dip into
eggs, then coat with bread crumbs.
- Fry about 2 minutes or until brown; drain
on paper towels.
