HONEY DATE NUT BREAD

Ingredients:

Directions

  1. In bowl, pour water over dates, let stand until cool. Do not drain.
  2. Beat egg on high speed 2 minutes.
  3. Beat in honey butter and vanilla.
  4. Stir the dates into egg mixture.
  5. Mix flour, soda and salt, then stir into egg mixture.
  6. Add nuts just until combined.
  7. Turn batter into 2 greased loaf pans.
  8. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes.
  9. Cool on rack.
  10. Wrap bread and let stand 24 hours before slicing.
