CaerPhilly Scones
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ oz butter
- ¾ lbs. flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- pepper to taste
- 3 oz Caerphilly cheese or use cream philly cheese
- 2 oz. parmesan cheese
- about ½ pint milk
Method:
- Sift flour then add salt, baking powder, and rub in butter
- Grate cheese and add to flour with pinch of pepper
- Mix well add enough milk to make soft dough
- Roll out ½ in thick
- Stamp rounds n place on buttered baking sheet
- Bake 15 to 20 min in hot oven
- Serve hot with butter!
