Tibetan Butter Tea

Ingredients for four servings:


  1. Put tea leaves in water and boil for 5-10 minutes - check whether the color has come out of the leaves; the color should be dark brown.
  2. Strain out the leaves and put the tea into a bamboo vessel.
  3. Add butter, milk, tea cake, and salt to taste.
  4. Churn it with a wooden stick, and tea is ready to serve.
