Tibetan Butter Tea
Ingredients for four servings:
- 4 Cups Water
- 1/4 Tea Cake
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 3
Tblspns Butter
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Put tea leaves in water
and boil for 5-10 minutes - check whether the color has come out of the leaves;
the color should be dark brown.
- Strain out the leaves and put the tea into a
bamboo vessel.
- Add butter, milk, tea cake, and salt to taste.
- Churn it with a wooden
stick, and tea is ready to serve.
