Fizzies

The orginal fizzies had koolade w/o sugar and saccharine - pressed into a tablet shape and sold as Fizzies! I prefer to use sugar and baking soda instead of saccharine and lemon juice as the catalyst to produce the bubbles - adjust recipe to suit your tase but remember baking soda is an anti-acid .

Ingedients:

1. 1 cup water
2. 1 tsp. koolade w/sugar of your choice
3. 1/8 teaspoon baking soda (a pinch)
4. 1 tsp lemon juice

Method:

Pour water into a tall glass and add lemon juice. Stir in the baking soda and koolade w/sugar and watch the fizzies! Don't overuse this recipe - the reason fizzies was taken off the market was due to safety concerns about saccharine.
